Yes. He...absolutely did. What he did is the VERY DEFINITION OF mindrape. And, honestly, if you can't see the rape analogies in the scene (Donna, crying and sobbing, and begging him not to and saying 'no, no, no' over and over again) then...wow.

Except that she had made the choice to die with him. And then he TOOK AWAY HER ABILITY TO CHOOSE THAT. But, sure, okay. Agree to disagree.

You can't. And not only that, but that would've eliminated ANY future possibility that the Doctor could have in the future to find a way to give her back her memories without the destruction of her life.

If she died... that possibility would not exist.

Yes, I really do.

For the record, I'm a woman too. I've actually been in the position where I said "no" and the guy kept taking it as "yes." It wasn't a matter of life and death; it was a matter of a power struggle. He was neither trying to save my life nor help me in any way; it was an act of pure selfishness.

Now that's been said, I am so very dropping this subject.

Eh, it's ok. The finale was so massively disappointing that quite frankly, there's only one thing left to do and that's pick at it until it bleeds.

Cause I don't know about you, but after the "DoctorDonna" my eyes started bleeding. Then my ears. It all went downhill from there. :(
