About a week ago JA's ppl may have sent a C&D letter to the runners of a website that was planning to start handing out fliers and stickers saying that JA was functionally illiterate, and some other crap they made up because it was 'funny' and they were 'such huge fans'. So they started claiming that JA was taking legal action against them and maybe suing them and trying to rally the fandom around them since obviously him not wanting a campaign like that happening meant he was going to go after the slashers next, or some such nonsense. Then they spent a few days wanking about how JA had betrayed them and that he has no sense of humor, and being butthurt because the rest of fandom was pretty much like 'good riddance'.

But he didn't really save her, did he? Donna Noble, or at least the Donna who had grown with The Doctor, doesn't exist anymore. Not saying I agree with the OP, but I can tell you that The Doctor could have at least listened when Donna told him no. He's let dear friends pass away with dignity before.

I feel we'll all have egg on our faces halfway through series five, when Donna suddenly remembers everything and goes on to be Lady President of a newly-un-Time-Warred Gallifrey.
