115. Yeah, like Twilight has a chance to even coming close to TDK numbers. The story of Twilight appeals mostly to a female audience in 15 to 25 age range with a few moms thrown in for good measure.

TDK appeals to both genders, men and women and doesn't have an age demographic because there isn't one. When it comes to Batman it's 8 to 88 in terms of fans' ages.

With that limited market and the fickleness of it, (the backlash for Breaking Dawn is becoming ugly), I don't see how Twilight can beat TDK.

At least Titanic had a huge freakin' ship sinking to keep the men entertained. What does Twilight have to offer them?

130. That's an interesting concept. That Ten didn't love Rose, that is. I definitely saw a relationship between Nine and Rose, but when he regenerated it was suddenly gone for me and it became TRYING TOO HARD.

If Ten didn't love Rose, but was instead acting upon the feelings of his previous incarnation and Rose's own expectations... Damn, this could make a good fic. Baw, I've never written any DW fanfic though. Afraid I'd do it horribly wrong.

Do you happen to remember the one secret from a while back where the OP said she couldn't bear to have anything to do with Neon Genesis Evangelion even though she really liked the series... because the guy that raped her loved that show?
Even if it's not that big, if you really associate someone with a movie/series/whatever and you fall out with that person, you'll remember them whenever you watch that series. I'm sure that OP didn't feel like having flashbacks and whatnot whenever she tried to watch Eva.

So do I! :D I mean, I still prefer the sub, but the dub's better than what I expected it to be and I'm enjoying it, even if there's a lot of complaints about it. :( Some people need to realize that VAs aren't just let loose on an anime, if one think Kamina's voice is too un-manly for him, then that's a decision of the the directors, not the VA's shortcomings-and just because it's a different take on the character doesn't mean it's completely wrong. Dubs aren't meant just for the subbies, it's to make it accessible a wider audience, hence why it is dubbed over in the language that the intended audience understands. Besides, Bandai was awesome enough to already release Gurren Lagann DVDs with subs-only, and it's a great deal-nine episodes for the price of four or five (it's a good move that I think the rest of the anime industry should pay attention to, but that's another rant for another day).

166. Don't really see how it's a secret, since the majority of the anime fandom seems to hate dubs. But anyways-as long as you don't bash us people who like dubbed anime, then it's fine. Nothing wrong with differences of opinion. :)
