I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but the fact that people are freaking out over some baseless rumor that Destiel's going to become canon in season fourteen really puzzles me.

I dunno either, but it makes me wonder what's gonna happen when the show eventually ends without Destiel becoming canon. Are they gonna start spinning conspiracy theories and saying there was a secret episode/season like the Johnlockers did?

a part of me kind of hopes so tbh, it'd make for some amusing reading. but i mostly imagine that they'll be screaming about the writers queerbaiting them as per usual.

Yeah, but it's not out yet. The first episode's gonna air in October and people are convinced Destiel's gonna happen because of one vague, tee-hee type tweet.

I'd be pretty damn amused if they actually went for it. I can't help but feel it would divide the fandom even more and induce some entertaining wank.
