I'm sorry, Nonnie. I can't offer you a diagnosis, only sympathy. My own attention span has never been the best, but for me becoming unable to watch series or even movies anymore was indeed a symptom of depression.
Whatever it is in your case, I hope you can get help. If it's attention deficit, that you can learn how it works for you and how you can make the best of it, if it's depression that you get all the support you need. Best wishes!

Ouch, didn't realise this problem exists. I mostly read superbat fics before BVS and JL so didn't have to dodge the DCEU stories. Their chemistry sucks in the movies so I don't really get why you'd even want to write fic about the movieverse.

You're not quite alone in this. I think Dashcon might have been too cringy for me, but I find 'failed/sketchy Cons' stuff like this fascinating. Dashcon, the whole Bit of Earth mess...and then the Fyre Festival from last year was like a new story from a favorite author. I've seen a few Youtube documentaries on these, and I get sucked in fast.

But I can't recall others. Does anyone know more stories like this?
