Yes. I saw the Gentleman on the Road Mumford and Sons concert. It was really fun but so hot. Will definitely never do a weekend one like that.

At this point, it's mostly only worth it for me to go see artists that I really, really love.

I've been to a few live shows over the years, and yes, I've had fun at all of them. I love music in general, so any opportunity to hear it and sing along to some fun songs for a couple hours works for me :). And I've gotten to see a couple of my favorite bands live as well, which was nice. It's just great to be among other fans, and see the bands themselves having so much fun on stage.

Yup! I actually really love live concerts. I love chatting with people while in line and in the pit. I love the energy I get from the music. I'm on a high for days afterwards and it's wonderful.

I love live symphony concerts. Rock concerts depend heavily on the venue, because sometimes the sound quality is SO BAD. It's like, why the fuck even bother when all you can hear is the bass. And I have to always remember to wear earplugs, because my hearing is stupid sensitive.

I saw Fall Out Boy a few months ago and the venue had the worst sound quality ever. What's worse, I forgot to bring earplugs and my ears hurt for days afterwards. I've been to concerts where I was super close to the speakers without earplugs and my ears didn't hurt nearly as bad as they did after seeing FOB. Shame because they put on a good show and played lots of my favorites, but the shitty sound is what I remember the most.

I kind of miss living in a college town where classical concerts are cheap. Also, pop concerts are loud and crowded for my comfort.

hundreds. very few of them actually sucked.

when I was much younger and had way more energy, I enjoyed being in the pit where people were usually clapping and pogoing and waving their hands and having a good time. it was also super great to be able to watch every little thing the band members were doing up close and personal. but that was also in the days before video screens at every show.

outdoor festivals were the best, man

but now I'm old and I'm more interested in sitting and just letting the music surround me. I don't think I'd enjoy, say, a DJ live, but rock bands with talented musicians who might improvise lengthy solos - now that's the shit.

yeah, I've been to lots of them, almost all of them were fun, even ones I thought weren't going to be that great.
