In the first episode of Buffy, Xander should have died instead of his best friend (the one who gets vamped and is played by the dude from Haven).

Missy on Doctor Who. Why finish her off for good like that? I mean, I know, the Master always comes back. But it was unnecessary. And I'd have loved to see her with 13.

Bobby on Supernatural. Still not over that.

I want to see Missy with Thirteen as well. She was such a fun character, but I guess killing her off makes room for a new Master that doesn't have to deal with those pesky feelings of guilt that she was starting to have.

I loved Bobby too and his death was actually the first time I cried while watching Supernatural because I was so sure they'd bring him back and it caught me off guard that his death actually stuck. Well, sorta.

Darth Maul. I don't even like him but it's ridiculous at this point.

Angel in We're Alive.

Kevin on Supernatural and it wasn't just once, but twice. Oh, and Gabriel too. I hated how Bill went on Doctor Who, though I guess she's not technically dead and maybe they can bring her back to pal around with Thirteen for a bit.

When they killed Charlie, I stopped watching SPN. I haven't gone back since. Fuck that. What a terrible goddamned move that was.

Charlie's death was incredibly fucking pointless and, even with the new spoiler-y developments in the last season, I'm still pissed off about it.

I still haven't met Charlie. I finished out season 5 even though I was furious about Jo and Ellen. Then they killed Cas (I know he came back, but still incredibly stupid). Then they killed Bobby. I was over it.

Eileen on Supernatural. I thought she had lots of potential and she and Sam were really cute, but then she died in the stupidest way and my ship sank.

Abbie from "Sleepy Hollow" definitely belongs in the "should not have died at all" camp.

Oh, that's a good one. You don't kill off one of the leads of your show, wtf!

I still don't know what the hell they thought they were doing when they killed her off.

THIS. I can't believe they drove Nicole Beharie away like that. :(

That was ridiculously stupid. I loved season 1 so much and season 2 less, but killing off Abbie ensured I’d give zero fucks about the show ever again.

I'm never not going to be upset that they killed Jadzia Dax. She was far and away my favorite character on DS9, and god, losing her hurt.

To this day, I don't think I gave Ezri a fair chance, but I just missed Jadzia so much and Ezri wasn't what I wanted. And I loathed that Bashir "got" her in the end. Even though I like Bashir a lot, I hated his obsession with Jadzia, and him getting with Ezri felt so gross and like a "reward" for his "waiting" this long- ahdkjgdahg.

Still pissed about OUAT’s Neal Cassidy (and instant-elderly season 7, and especially bag of bones season... 6? AU Belle, wtf). I actually shut off the tv right before Neal died and never watched another episode, and am glad I only know about Belle’s deaths from fandom.

Phasma from Star Wars. She had such potential, but outside the novels, nothing. :/

I'm forever salty about Kate's death in NCIS, and to this day I've yet to watch another episode of the show. I get that the actress wanted to leave (she was having health problems, if I remember correctly), but surely there were other options than just shooting her in the head out of nowhere at the very end of the season finale.

I also think that killing Amber in House was a terrible move and a waste of a fun character. I also think she should have been hired onto the team to begin with instead of 13, who was basically the anthropomorphic personification of blandness and who added nothing of value to the show. I also wish they hadn't killed Kutner, at least not the way they did. I know his actor was going on hiatus from acting and about to go work for the Obama administration for a year, but you'd think the writers could've come up with a better way to write the character off of the show other than an out-of-nowhere suicide.

Amy on In the Flesh. I'm not sure she was 100% dead since she was a zombie but she probably was and in any case they cancelled the show so now we'll never know.
