It's Monday!

I'm making a playlist on Spotify of songs from the 70s (I've been working on it since yesterday afternoon). I want it to have one song per artist with no artist repeats, and so far I'm at 200 songs and still finding good stuff to add. Trying to get a good mix of stuff (not too heavy on pop, disco, or story songs), it's a lot of fun! I have no idea how long it'll be tho, lol.

Uh. I should already be in bed (it's midnight in my timezone) but I spent the last hour and half untangling some wool for the new scarf I'm knitting. Well at least it'll be easier to knit during the much-needed breaks tomorrow between work hours. Hope I don't fall asleep on my needles...

Relaxing after a ton of shitty meetings.

Nothing really, my brain won't settle down and let me think

Trying unsuccessfully to keep my mind off the fact that it's my brother's birthday and I haven't talked to him in a long time because I feel uncomfortable that I can't be out to him and his girlfriend is awful and makes it impossible to talk to him alone.

At the same time, I'm still enjoying rewatching The Good Place for about the 50th time while sort of thinking about some plotting details before NaNo starts.

Worked most of the day. Cooking the rest of the day for tomorrow.

went for a hike in the woods with a couple of friends, then came home to watch scary movies because Halloween.

Hopefully as little as possible.

Streaming "The Shining" on a shady website

Just set off the smoke alarm while trying to make supper, so I'm debating going out for food instead of bothering with anything kitchen-related again.

Worked. Then I had a meeting with a potential roommate. She was kind and her puppy was adorable. The house is beautiful and exactly the type of place I would love to live in. But I'm afraid I made a bad impression. I was so shy and nervous. :(

I have no work tomorrow so I can stay up as late as I want to. (Well, technically I can always stay up as late as I want to, but you know what I mean.) Probably I'll spend the evening playing video games and reading, which is fine with me.

Shaking off a lingering headache. Also have a sore arm from vaccinations last week. Might be a coincidence.

I dug out my TV from the furniture pile that was blocking it from when our carpet was torn up post-basement flooding. I CAN PLAY DRAGON QUEST AGAIN!!!
