Went to work, but we had our Christmas party today and people brought homemade BBQ chicken wings, empanadas, pupusas, all kinds of sweets, drinks, etc and then we did our Secret Santa gift exchange and I got a Starbucks gift card (woohoo I love Starbucks). We got to go home early and omg I'm STILL full!

not much. watched TV and listened to music.

Bought a donut, bummed around reading LPs,waiting impatiently for it to be late enough that I can justify going to bed for tomorrow...

Finished working on a fanart piece, started a second, and played a lot of Dragcave (which means refreshing over...and over...and over). It's been a pretty chill day and I love it.

Ran a bunch of errands before work. Got pulled over for going 75 on the highway. Was keeping up with traffic, cars were passing me, but he chose to pull me over. Now have a ticket.

Worked until 1:30. Then ran some more errands.

Still have a migraine. But my dad barely allowed me an hour nap before he was on me to do chores around the house. Can't wait until my sister is here tomorrow so I don't have to deal with him alone.

Went to work, got free pizza and hot chocolate, both of which are things I love, so that was cool.

Looking forward to reading my Yuletide fic (and worrying what my recipient will think of the one I wrote.)

Visiting my cousins at the moment, so I spent most of the day with them. Hung out, helped with some yardwork. Then my brother arrived in the afternoon and it's actually also his birthday today so we went out for Chinese food to celebrate, and then went back to the cousins' place for cake afterwards. Really good day. And now, of course, I'm sitting up being gloomy and emo because that's how my brain works.

Work! Convinced my boss to let me leave an hour early. Now chilling at my parents' house watching Christmas movies.

Watched an early showing for Aquaman. Took my nieces to Dave and Busters and played some fun games. Came home and began baking. Made sugar cookies, the royal icing, fudge, chocolate chip cookies and more sugar cookies. Just showered and waiting for my laundry to finish drying so I can go to bed early (doubtful). Busy and kind of stressful but it's cool.

We're staying at qt3.14's parents' house for a few days, and a bunch of her relatives came over today. I woke up at the asscrack of dawn to help her mom make breakfast. I don't really know anyone so I mostly spent the day playing Minecraft with qt's niblings. We built a rainbow house and then blew it up.

Got to leave work early which was awesome, but I feel bad for everyone who had to stay. Came home, made penuche, threw a couple plastic dropcloths over the chicken coop roof because it’s supposed to rain tonight (yay) and the coop leaks (boo). Currently attempting fudge. Gonna wrap presents and roll out piecrust while waiting for the fudge goop to cool. Probably won’t actually sleep until it’s technically Christmas because I’d rather get as much done as I can tonight and have time for a shower and a nap before I head to my aunt and uncle’s place tomorrow.

We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, so went over to my parents' house, had dinner, exchanged gifts and watched a movie. It was really nice. :)

Donated blood, went to see the new Astérix movie, had half a pizza, wrote a drabble, and went to bed early. No Christmas at all is the best Christmas, I should do that again next year!
