Can't agree, OP. Stranger Things is definitely overrated and I think a lot of its popularity is down to the look of the show and its 80s atmosphere. Dark has a very cool atmosphere, but that's kind of it. The people are very difficult to like and the plot is sort of pretentious.

I also would not recommend the English dub, it's terrible.
