I always liked Dobby and Firenze and thought it was weird and shitty that there wasn't any closure on the problem of intelligent non-humans being treated like animals or slaves.

Still very much dislike Snape.

OMG, yes. I mean, I get there was a war going on. But still. The books made it seem as if Hermione's instincts, not just her methods, were wrong. And then we were supposed to look at Kreacher as a balance to Dobby and think that maybe elf slaver is fine? I don't know, bothered me. It was nice to find out outside the book that Hermione still fought for non-human rights in her career. But it would have been nice to see more of it in the books.
