I can't remember where I saw this discussion but a lot of parents on a thread/conversation I was in recently were saying their kids can't get into traditional animation at all so it's unlikely we'll ever go back from the computerised style. I mean, I can get it because a lot of traditional animation might seem "slow" to modern kids but part of me was a little sad about that. On the other hand plenty of people countered by saying their kids liked the old stuff so who knows.

(Anonymous) 2019-01-07 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)I was a little surprised because my youngest, now double digits adored Spongebob and Teletubbies and god help us, Caillou and most Disney movies... But these two just wanted the slicker styled stuff. And they've been propped up in front of TVs since....birth, sigh.
