The only reason I know Coachella's a music festival is because my best friend used to live in Indio. Otherwise I'd think it was a subsidiary of the Coach brand.

The only reason i figured it out was because someone referenced it in an awesome Bucky fic and it *made no sense* yet again, so i finally looked it up.

My boyfriend was joking about his parents getting me something awful for Christmas and a coach purse was one of his “guesses” bc they’re ugly as sin to me. We laughed.

His parents got me a coach purse for Christmas.

I love this fucking purse, it’s exactly the right size with exactly the right amount and size of pockets and the color of the print is so close to the color of the background so you can barely tell it’s a tacky-ass coach.

I just feel bad for his SIL who got one too but in a contrasted, obvious print. Also she’s vegan and doesn’t know wtf to do with a leather purse lmao.

Ah ha ha, omg. Yes, I think they're ugly as sin. I'm glad you like it; i think stuff like that that costs *so much* is really nutty.

She could sell it online and donate the money to her favorite charity?

I love Coach as a brand, so I was never confused between it and Coachella. But there was quite a while, a few years ago, where I kept hearing people talk about Coachella and not knowing what it was.

I understood Coachella before I understood SXSW though, mainly because I kept hearing people say South By South West, but then when they'd write it they'd just write SXSW, which kept me confused for a while.

Wow, yes, that *is* confusing.

Which is why i don't like initials for titles and most portmanteau names.
Well, in the case of names, most of them are just stupid as hell, but if you're not familiar, they make *no* sense and are impossible to guess.
