What have you done or made recently that makes you proud?

I made a pavlova with lemon curd and blueberries! I think it turned out exactly like it should! It has a great texture. Like crispy outside and marshmallow middle.

Pretty happy about it!

That looks so good! I recently made a banana bread with chocolate chips. It was super yummy and I'm hoping to replicate the results for the office potluck.

I hope they love it! I love banana bread with chocolate chips but some of my family doesn't because they have terrible taste.

That pavlova looks excellent!

I, personally, have been making some extremely good tweets, so that's something

Don't know if this counts, but I wrote a really awesome brief on Thursday.

It does! I am not sure what a brief is but I know it is a lawyer thing.

I dare say that my hand-knitted Non-Binary pride scarf looks rather nifty. On to knitting an Aromantic pride scarf now!

I uh, opened this comment to ask what an aromatic scarf is and now I’m realizing I’m an idiot....

Awesome. Do you make them for yourself or to sale or to gift?

Wow, impressive! Any tips or something you’d try differently next time?

We used the ingredients list from here. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/12126/easy-pavlova/

And then read a couple of other recipes to get a more thorough process. I would way cut down the sugar. Maybe to 3/4 of a cup. Other than that, it was good!

I went grocery shopping and am getting my laundry done. I've been putting both off for awhile so I'm glad i finally decided to get it done, lol.

Good work! While shopping doesn't bother me too much. I HATE doing laundry. Especially small, fiddly clothes.

I... made a couple of critical to do lists. It isn't something I'm proud of as much as something that was a pressing necessity because I'm suddenly super busy the next week, but I've at least got a battle plan now.

In a way this question was a brutal reminder about how I'm not really impressing myself and should work on that too, huh.

Congrats on the pavlova! It's my go-to cake because I hate baking and meringue is the simplest form of it, but it somehow always ends up more chewy than mashmallow.

Getting the to do list done is first step to getting everything done. Good work. :D

Enjoy your pavlova!
I'm going to have some chili that I had in the freezer for a while, and I'm having it for dinner.
Just have to add some freshly cooked yellow pepper and some kidney beans and I'm ready to go.

Thanks. Chili is so good, especially when it is cold as hell outside. Is it cold where you are?

I used this recipe for the pavlova. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/12126/easy-pavlova/ But I would cut down the sugar quite a bit.

I used this for lemon curd (so you can use up those yolks). https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/lemon-curd-recipe-1909621

That looks delish. Good job!

My dad makes music and he invited me over to do vocals for him this week, which we haven't done together for years. I don't think I was great, but he was really happy with it, so that makes me happy.

I learned the Elder Futharc by heart. I can now translate runes. Utterly useless without being able to speak / read / or write icelandic, but I can write in runes in english at least.
