I'd be more weirded out by someone who didn't at least want to or didn't think they deserved a punch in the face, than someone who did.

Well then I guess you'd be weirded out by me. I don't want anyone to be hurt. Suffer consequences? Sure. I think a child abuser or someone who tortures puppies (examples in this thread) should be imprisoned so they can't hurt anyone else, but I don't want to see them suffer. I don't think violence is generally a good solution to pretty much anything.

Sure? I confirm you did read that correctly, I am indeed more weirded out by you, someone who doesn't think that abusers deserve a punch in the face.

Whether violence is helpful or an effective solution to anything is a wholly separate question to whether you find someone deserving of a punch or not.

You're not alone Anon. This is exactly how I feel and I don't understand how anyone could wish harm on any on else no matter what they've done.

JSYK, this does not make you a better person than those who can, though you seem to think it does.

It's really not hard to understand, though?

Someone does a horrible thing that causes a great amount of harm to someone else. People think that it's only fair that this person experiences the same amount of suffering that they inflicted on an innocent person.
