What are you currently watching?

I've paused the new things I've been watching for a Doctor Who rewatch. Who is one of the few things that is an instant happy place for me.

Right now I am consuming massive quantities of PBS, because I decided I didn't want to pay for a cable subscription anymore, but I also don't want to pay for any subscription services, so here we are. I'm all about Nova, Nature, Finding Your Roots, and ALL THE COOKING SHOWS. Right now there's also Victoria, and Call the Midwife will be back soon. I've also been catching re-runs of the old Ken Burns Civil War series late at night.

I love Call the Midwife. And yes to all the cooking shows.

Netflix, mainly The Clone Wars.

Still love it.

The Star Wars animated shows (well, the old ones, haven't seen Resistance yet) are just so well done.

Are we talking about the 2D Genndy Tartakovsky shows? Because those were amazing. I know there've been multiple animated Clone Wars series but Star Wars Clone Wars is the oldest (and best) I can think of.

Overwatch League.

I need to get back to watching Umbrella Academy but instead I'm watching X Files for the 40th time because it's on Amazon Prime

Some things are just worth watching over and over again. Enjoy!

I haven't watched any TXF in ages. I miss Mulder and Scully. Especially Scully. Mostly Scully. Lol.

Are you watching in order, or just cherry-picking episodes?

Definitely cherry picking - sort of went through the third and fourth seasons and now in doubling back to S1. S1 is so great there's so many silly terrible episodes and they're so young

Still working our way through SG-1 (currently in the middle-ish of Season 7.)

Will probably catch up on the 2 latest episodes of The Orville in the next few days.

SG-1! Another one on my list to rewatch a lot.

We're actually watching it for the first time. (Haven't seen SGA or SGU either.)

And I am itching for the new season of American Gods. I was horrified when friend one took advantage of being at my house for a weekend to watch it and then more intrigued when friend two did the same. Damn Bilquis.

I've started watching Neighbours of all things because I am spending more days at my granddad's house to sit with him (he has dementia) to let my gran go out and it annoys me when I don't know what is going on and DAMN that show moves fast.

Fox is showing Bones around dinner time here too so I have been following along with that.

On and off with new season of NCIS.

American Gods is on my list of things to get around to watching anyway. I really want to, I just end up rewatching old things instead of trying new ones right now.

I'd been having Dirk Gently's Detective Agency on my recommended page on Netflix for a while now so I'm currently watching through that. It's kinda fun, very quirky and strange, but the characters are all pretty engaging and I'm super fond of Farah, Amanda, Bart and Ken.

It also took me like 2 seconds to ship Farah/Amanda so that's fun too, though I suspect I'll find very little fic-wise for them(already had a look for gifsets with very disappointing results).

I fell hard for S1 of Dirk Gently. Sadly, S2 was an utter mess, IMO. But S1 still makes me pine for what could have been.

At first I found most of the characters (and especially Dirk) kind of annoying, but somehow by the end of S1 I loved them all (and especially Dirk).

It also took me like 2 seconds to ship Farah/Amanda so that's fun too, though I suspect I'll find very little fic-wise for them(already had a look for gifsets with very disappointing results).

They were actually a pretty popular secondary pairing for the show. However, the fandom just never really got big enough for there to be all that much to see, for any pairing. Even Dirk/Todd, which has the most, doesn't have all that much.

Documentaries about the civil rights movement, Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes, Check Please and the Two Fat Ladies. My taste in TV goes all over the map.

Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes is my hands down favorite!

This documentary on Netflix called Behind the Curve about the Flat Earthers.

That sounds interesting.

I'm watching Roswell, New Mexico. It's trashy sci-fi FUN!

Kids Baking Championship.

I've just finished The Dragon Prince-season #2, on to catching up with Steven Universe-season #5! (and still making my way slow but steady through Star Trek-TOS.)
