I mean, canonically two of the Umbrella characters want to bone.

Yes. And people like to argue that it's not really incest because they're not biologically related/they were adopted.

(Anonymous) 2019-03-26 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes but they've also argue that despite being adopted they were not really raised as siblings, more like military academy kids or boarding school kids.

Well, they are correct with not being biologically related. Also, I don't think they were actually adopted? Didn't the guy buy them from their mothers?

And I guess whether or not they count each other as siblings is up to them. Obviously some do, but some don't.

The problem with that argument is that it implies adopted siblings aren't *really* siblings, which, you know. Not only is that wrong but by that logic there are no reason to find relationships between people who aren't biologically related creepy, nevermind power imbalance. Conflict of roles is a thing.

Anyhow you can write what you want, I would not ignore the conflicted feelings about being with someone who belongs to your family tho.

While I understand your concerns, there is no actual power imbalance for the two Umbrella Academy characters in question. One could flatten you to a wall, the other could mind control you. They're also the exact same age.
