Autism fucking sucks. I avoid everyone because I'm afraid of them hating me or not being able to keep up the illusion, but that just makes me easier to hate. I just can't win.

I got my taxes done today and I left to do it at 9:30. It’s now 4:40, because I went to a free tax clinic on the bus, and to celebrate, I went to buy Into the Spider-Verse and get pizza to take home. Target was out of Spider-Verse dvds and my pizza just went in the oven when it was supposed to be done, so my careful timing so I could take my pizza home still hot on the bus just went down the crapper because there went my bus right now. Sigh. Also I’m worried I’ll have to take one of my chickens into the vet.

I'm very tired. I have a cystic pimple on my armpit and it's big and it hurts. Dunkins was out of iced coffee which just seems weird to me.

Was in bed by 10:30 and asleep by 10:45. Woke up because I was too hot and it was only 11:15. I was so mad that I had to figure out how to use my fan.

I needed new bookshelves because my old ones were crappy and fell apart weeks ago. I found nice new bookshelves at Ikea and asked if there was a way to pay to have it assembled, was told to go on Taskrabbit's website and book someone to assemble them for me. I needed to wait until a Wednesday because my dad is off work that day and he was helping me with moving the large heavy storage boxes that my books are currently in. I happened to have today off so Saturday I bought the shelves and placed a booking through the website for today.

They booked someone to do it immediately and then that person cancelled like an hour later and it wasn't reassigned. The website says not to worry, even if the original person declines they'll match me with someone so I waited. Monday no one had been assigned so I sent an email to customer support, I was told most of the time no one's assigned until 24 hours before the task is scheduled so don't worry. Yesterday I still hadn't been matched with anyone so I sent another email, got the same form letter about the 24 hour wait. I got annoyed and sent another email noting that it's less than 24 hours until the task now. For the rest of the day yesterday I went back and forth with customer support, them trying to see if I could change the date (because it's not like people have jobs and can just ask off any day off on a whim) and then telling me to book a person through their regular site not the Ikea part, except apparently the normal site 'doesn't service my area.' Then I wake up this morning and there's *still* no reply about my task until I emailed again and now I can't get anyone until two weeks from now, and hopefully it won't get fucked up again. I'm pissed because I want to be able to get to my books again and that I wasn't told days ago this couldn't be done when I needed it to.

I've got a regular thing with friends but I'm starting to realise that they're more important to me than I am to them
They'll cancel and reschedule for others but not for me
They cancelled for other people's birthday's and last year I didn't even get a facebook message

And that's the story on how my throat infection is back. I've taken some really strong antibiotics to fight it back but the lack of rest and sleep definitely has taken a toll on me.

I'm admittedly disappointed with the recently released Sekiro and salty that I don't feel much of the magic I felt while playing Bloodborne but oh well. Guess it's too much to wish for lightning to strike twice.

When I watched shows, I like to listen to podcasts about them. So, I found one for The Umbrella Academy where they do 2 episodes at a time. First episode had 2 people who liked the show. The next one had different people. And then 2-3 of those 4 people for the rest. It had SO many things I hated.

1) One person watched the whole series at once while the other 3 watched them 2 at a time. So she kept spoiling small things because she forgot.

2) One of them hated the show the whole time, but instead of letting him just not watch it, he was on all the rest of the episodes.

3) They kept missing huge plot points.

4) This is personal. The person who hated it had bizarre opinions. They hated Klaus, which I get. He is a bit much. BUT his favorite characters were Luther and Leonard?? Luther, fine. But LEONARD? He even tried to argue he wasn't actually abusive and was trying to help Vanya. WTF??!?!

I'm salty about how everything has to be phrased in terms of a "challenge" these days, e.g. "Do the ______ Challenge." It's devolved to where they're all either stupid stunts no one should do, or they're just things that... people do under normal circumstances without the need to make it a "challenge." I wish I could remember what it was, but one of those challenges came up recently and I thought, "Okay, people have been doing that for a long time, and it's also not particularly challenging. Why are you making this a thing?"

Sick of fucking antis. I'm just so sick of seeing every character that's nuanced labeled "problematic" and demonized to hell. I'm sick of being told I'm probably a pedo if I have anything to do with minor characters because i'm nearly 30. I'm sick of being told that my kinks and stuff in FICTION only make me some kind of evil freak that needs to die. Sick of having "FICTION AFFECTS REALITY" shouted in my face whenever I try to point out the simple fact that fiction and reality are not 1:1.


For fuck's sake fiction is a place where anything can happen in a CONTROLLED setting and can be stopped when things get uncomfortable. Which makes it completely and utterly different from reality where that doesn't happen. Fiction helps me work through my mood swings and cope with them in a healthy way.


Also I'm sick of misguided people thinking antis mean well because they say they're concerned about minors and abuse survivors. I'm sick of seeing these bullying nightmarish fucks who go around wishing death and suicide on other survivors pretend like they're not cruel sadistic hellbeasts to people they decide are 'deserving'.


I don't think minors and adults should be together in real life. I don't think abusive relationships are healthy in real life and I believe that real living abuse survivors should be protected in real life. I believe there are SOME cases where media can normalize bad shit.


But the way antis go about everything is just stupid. Its honestly just a poorly disguised excuse for bullying people who they think nobody will want to stand up for. What fiction you write or enjoy isn't some master indicator of what kind of person you are, but how you treat other REAL LIVING people kind of defines it. and when you go around sending gore to people to shock and scare them and spread lies to drive people off communities....you're kind of horrible.

I'm still pissed about Tim Burton's Dumbo and everything about it. I just don't understand why the remake had to go in that direction in relation to... everything. Everything about the trailers annoys me and this is the first of the Disney live action remakes that has bothered me like this. I guess part of the reason I'm stressed over it is because the original film is very dear to my heart and yeah, maybe my nostalgia goggles are strapped around my head too tightly but-but-but STILL.
