Lee Pace is one of my favorite actors and his thranduil was perfect..like he nailed that aloof disdain perfectly... and realizing that ned (from pushing daisies) and Thranduil are played by the same person is a testament to his acting skills... and yes totally hot

Aloof distain may be the elf stereotype, but that isn't who Thanduil is in the book.

Well the aloof disdain fit the narrative of the movie and I am pleased Though I know other people don't share the same opinion And that's OK
