We all have those moments. The girl in a horror movie runs upstairs instead of outside. Someone in power trusts the creepy untrustworthy guy with a moustache. We know what's going to happen next because it's clearly the wrong choice.

Tywin Lannister at Harrenall. I'd take a moment to ask myself whether the adolescent Northern girl dressed up as a boy, called Arry, might in fact be the adolescent Ayra Stark who has recently disappeared.

I'd change Steve's decision at the end of Endgame.

I'd make Luther less of an idiot in The Umbrella Academy and have them talk out their issues.

That one biologist in Prometheus who took off his helmet...would not.

Charles at the end of First Class would not try to stop a Holocaust survivor by saying the people on the boats were just doing their jobs.

If I was Sansa I would have gone with the Hound during the Battle of the Blackwater even if he was being drunk and weird. He's still huge and able to kill people and he'd already saved her during the riots. Anything is better than Joffrey, the guy who has your dad killed and keeps telling you he'll knock you up soon. :/

shopping for a new fandom

I've gone from SGA to TW to MCU and now I am bereft and don't know where to go for my fun fic fix. Briefly got into Magicians before the clusterfuck that just happened and I made a lightening quick exit stage left.

What new or old fandom are you all enjoying lately?

What was the Magicians clusterfuck? I've heard of it but I haven't been able to glean what actually went down.

Fandom-wise, Umbrella Academy is getting some stellar fic written but if you're not good at blocking out drama you might want to pass on it. Wanky as FUCK. Various series(...es?) of Star Trek still have semi-active fandoms that are generally quite pleasant and discussion-heavy if you're into that, though not quite as much in the way of fic. TNG and DS9 are my picks.

I've just got from HP to ST-TNG then to SGA myself. So Harry Potter or Star Trek TNG.

No luck for me with MCU - too few Strange fic.

I generally meander through old fav. fandoms when I'm between new obsessions. So I tend to dip in and out of the HP, LoTR, and Naruto fandoms when I'm not into something else. They've always got something new to read.
