And having binged lots of the show in the past two weeks and been disappointed every time I got the vague hope that hey, maybe THIS episode will finally have the person end up remaining, for example, super-butch-but-functional-and-stylish-and-put-together-butch and having them end up, sigh, yet again, superfemme or lipstick androgynous, no, I don't feel I am.

There are many, many ways to do functional! Nonconventional styles can be functional! Having the video game nerd guy find tasteful shirts with subdued game insignia or little color-palette nods to his favorite hobbies or animes that don't scream WEEB WITH A BODY PILLOW was a total possibility... that they didn't go with at all. Functional and attractive and openly geeky styles that still look great exist! They didn't go with those. They pretty much always go for the straightforward conventional way.

The show makes a show of REVEALING TRUE SELF rhetoric, but lot of the time, it feels like the person had more character beforehand. It's not really a show about making people look like better versions of their original elves, but rather more conventionally attractive versions of themselves, if that makes sense.

tl;dr nope

I hate it when people whose job it is to deliver food, instead of calling the number on the order to make sure they're at the right address, receive a message from another number and just deliver the food there? And when people receive food that has someone else's name on it they just take the food? And, oh, the company that delivers the food isn't even the company that makes the food so your customer service rep tells you that the restaurant will send you an e-mail and the issue will be "resolved".

That's the Purity Police bullshit in action tho. I guess the new IT movie is just going to be pedo mcgee because all the Losers are adults now.

I think it's less meant to make us wonder what he wants, and more evidence of the writers' inability to write convincing conflict. They ignore obvious solutions to various problems because coming up with reasons those solutions wouldn't work is more effort than they want to put in. So people make decisions that are stupid to the point of being utterly nonsensical, characters conveniently forget important information when it would be relevant, and no one ever suggests reasonable approaches to things.

how is she more sympathetic than Snape??? Snape bullies Neville, yes. He's a dick, yes. Petunia abused, starved, and kept a child in a CLOSET for YEARS because she was ashamed of that sister she lost. So her one moment with one sentence is enough to absolve that but Snape dying isn't enough for him?

If you ever have 30+ hours to spare, there's movie playthroughs without all of the battle filler available to watch.

THIS. I have dropped so many people because they claimed they wanted to be friends but then wouldn't put fuck all into the friendship. When I find myself always being the one to reach out to the other person, that's a pretty good sign that it just isn't worth it. You can't just take and take and never give back.

You know, it's funny, because while I played P3 and enjoyed it, for some reason I just... couldn't get invested in the cast the same way I did with P4 and P5, and to this day I don't know why that is.

In third year, Lucius told Snape he reminded him of a monkey. Lucius was picturing a marmoset, but Snape thought he meant Michael Nesmith. Snape cried.

That's honestly how I felt about P4. I just didn't gel with the characters the same way. I just loved 3's gang so much (even though Fuuka gets annoying in the dungeons, but all the support characters do for the most part, you know?) (oh and Yukari. I just hated Yukari).

The headcanon made me lol. This secret sure is controversial.

Judging by history, purity culture is a kind of cycle for antis and that in a year or two, none of them will care about what they used to preach and will have moved on to another target entirely. They don't actually have any real sense of morality nor do they want to help offer solutions to real world problems; most antis are just big phonies seeking attention through bullying.

Seconding the no vote. Honestly, I live in a country area, and my download speeds aren't up to much. But I'll go with what the majority decides.

I suppose they could if they want to, but I just don't think it's unreasonable *not* to want to, either, in that situation.

Yeah, P3's cast just didn't click with me for whatever reason. Except for Shinjiro and... LOL.

oh sadface lol. I just loved Junpei's whole storyline (though the acting is a little cringeworthy now given it's Vic Mignogna). Akihito and Shinjiro's plot was lovely and Mitsuro's was to me as well. I know a lot of people hate Aegis but I love her so much. I even love the freaking dog.

I've tried playing 4 twice and I can't remember anyone's names and I haven't followed a story far enough for it to grab me (except the possible bisexual???? boy) so I feel guilty, like I'm not giving all the gang a chance. One day I will solve those murder mysteries, guys, I swear!
