Think of it this way: women are SO tired of being ruled over and dictated to by men that what men (and you, assuming you're not male) call misandry is simply just women reacting angrily to millenia of SHITTY TREATMENT.

No woman has personally endured millennia of shitty treatment. That's a poor excuse to treat each man like he's personally wronged you and deserves to be held accountable for the treatment men have collectively subjected women to. You're not angry enough to justify the way you treat men. You just enjoy pretending you are so you can go on a bullying spree.

I haven't endured millennia of shitty treatment, but the nearly forty years I have endured are certainly enough to warrant the occasional hyperbolic suggestion that all men sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up for a minute.

Which is not, incidentally, bullying. Bullying is a deliberate, targeted, and prolonged harassment of a specific individual, not a momentary lapse in coddling the collective feelings of the ruling class.

Oh shut the entire fuck up. Do you feel the same way about black people who are wary around white people? LGBT people around straight people? Literally any minority that is still feeling the effects in their families and in their communities and in their actual lives of real, lived oppression?

A lot of men are shitty and products of their privilege and don't like it when that privilege is challenged and enjoy putting women in their place. There's a reason abortion and "fathers should get a say" is still a goddamn debate.
