Re: What's your opinion on casual misandry?

It depends. My personal boundaries for walking away from the conversation are:

1. Biological essentialism, "men are natural-born cheaters."
2. Personal abuse, "Of course you're going to cheat."
3. Abuse denial, "Men can't really be sexually assaulted, because they always want sex."

As talking points those things are absolute 100% guarantees that the person I'm talking to needs the blood eagle.

But I can live with any of those ideas if they're slotted inside a funny joke.

Bullshit opinions are always bullshit as opinions, but there's always room to make them funny.

Sadly I've not seen many feminist actually turn them into anything funny. Probably because women are just not funny (JK, that one is just there as a gift for the anon above telling me I'm sexist. Like I need some fucking woman to tell me I am or am not sexist. Jesus.)

ayrt: Possibly, but having experienced all that from family and partners in abusive ways, I'm under no obligation to stick around for the punchline.

course your not. Jokes are supposed to make people laugh, if it doesn't fit you, you are well within ever right in the world to cut ties and walk away.

WTF? No. Only women get to decide if something is sexist against women.

Did you mean to reply to me? cause there's not a clear link between what I said and your reply

"Like I need some fucking woman to tell me I am or am not sexist" is what I was replying to.
