It bothered the hell out of me when I found out Relient K was considered a "Christian band," because I never heard even one song of theirs that I would consider religious or Christian in the least. Are they just a band that is Christian and as such has gotten this moniker, or are there lots of songs that I just haven't heard from them?

They're a Christian band--they were gaining popularity among Christian stations for years before they were popular in secular radio. (I owned several of their older albums--still own them, somewhere.) Here's some lyrics from a 2000 album:

I haven't read the books and have occasionally worried that I love the film so much and might be That Kind of Fan, with no idea whether it's a good adaptation from the book - even though some films are crap adaptations but still good films, for some reason this worries me...)

That shit is worse than 'I Kissed a Girl' as far as the whole degrading-the-gay-community thing goes. Though I'm not one of those people who are like OH NOES SHE IS MAKING MY SEXUALITY SO TRIVIAL. Sure she's pretty. I just think she has no idea what sort of message she is sending. I'm never going to like her regardless of if she has other awesome songs because I think she's literally stupid and desperate to make it big on omggaycontroversy.

umm deathstroke and slade are the same character. the producers of the show just didn't want the name of the villin to have the word "death" in it because it was for kids so it was changed to slade

Have you honestly never heard her try to sing without the aid of synthesizers, or do you simply choose to block out her voice when you do? Because she has no voice.

Try attaching yourself to someone who can actually sing, kthx, or at least stop criticizing everyone else out there who shows a little taste.

If I'm honest with myself, it started with The State about 15 years ago. As I discovered each of these people, it just added to it. I don't talk about it (and get generally discouraged) because I feel past the age of self indulgence. I feel like, if I was going to do it, I should have done it earlier. I'm at the age where my parents got practical about their lives and put their dreams to rest.

Sorry to drop my neurosis on you. :P
