I don't like him or his movies generally but watched this anyway for Jennifer Aniston in the hopes it might be not bad like 50 first dates was not bad.

But I can tell you that you aren't missing anything by not watching Murder Mystery. It was on the low side of average. And that's me being generous. They had NO on-screen chemistry, and I didn't buy them being a married couple at all, I've seen more intimacy between strangers in romance movies, and Adam Sandler was just playing Adam Sandler as he does.

I don't know that it would have been better with a different male lead as the plot was a bit wishy washy too. Couldn't have been worse, anyway. Be glad you haven't wasted time on it.
