I imagine it was the little girl in the red coat who was terrified and had no idea what was going on.

Or the children in the concentration camp who hid in the outhouse and ovens when they were taking all the children away to be burnt and killed.

Or, you can think of them as that girl who was born into a world where everyone was telling her that a certain group was her enemy by literally everyone she knew. Sounds sort of like a certain queen who was born into a world being told by everyone she HAD to rule Westeros and kill anyone who got in her way.

And who is that queen? Because none of the queens in the show were meant to rule anything. Cersei and Margaery were raised to be a lord's wife and Dany had a pretty normal childhood given the circumstances, she was never raised to be anything, she was only a tool to give her brother an army.

I like Dany and the Holocaust comparisons are appalling to me. It was a poorly done storyline and I'm still bitter about it. But as it stands she was wrong and not at all justified. And even apart from that, comparing fictional situations to the Holocaust is never, ever okay. Ever.

Well, obviously kids understand everything about the things they say and do, right? That's why we treat them exactly the same as adults, right?
