I’m super late to this, but it’s an interesting topic for me! When I was about 8 I was already having deeply sexual fantasies without really knowing that’s what they were; my favorite was a fantasy that I was one of a harem of slaves to an Egyptian queen. We (the slaves) were of varying ages, anywhere from my own age up through adult, and the fantasies themselves were very, very BDSM flavored and creative.

I had an almost painfully normal upbringing! I have absolutely no idea where any of that came from. I did have a mild obsession with Egypt at the time (or, at least, the sanitized children’s history version of it), so the setting made sense, but good god the rest of it!

Heeee! An interesting setting, for sure!

I don't think i really started thinking about stuff in a sexual way until I was closer to 10 or even 12 years old. And then i was thinking about boys *and* girls, and while not actively lusting after either, really *appreciating* them. :D I remember a girl who had the prettiest calves.....

ANYway - yes. BDSM type thoughts came to me, too, as i got older, and the pony/puppy play stuff (didn't know about all the gear and accessories until *much* later), and i'm the same - WHERE? did that come from?

I was a white kid in a small mid-western town where 'that stuff' was 'gross' and nobody talked about it unless it was a joke, and though my parents were frank about sex/reproduction, it certainly wasn't something they told us about or anything.....

Our brains, so weird!
