Along with the other things mentioned, there was the big blow up with Mike in season 3, when Will wanted to play D&D and all Mike and Lucas wanted to do was talk about Eleven and Max. Mike said to Will something to the effect, "Just because you don't like girls..." which could go either way, but I do think was meant to indicate he's gay.

I really liked that line actually, but I didn't read it as a signpost to sexuality one way or another. It's just such a massive space for anxiety for a kid in a situation like Will's - on the cusp of puberty, watching his friends get into relationships, still wanting the same kind of social bonds with them that he had before, afraid of change, etc, etc, - even before getting into the worry or the fear about being different and being gay. And it's such a shitty but plausible thing to have thrown in your face like that.

IDK if I'm really agreeing or disagreeing I just thought it was a good line.

Agreed, it is a really good line and I like that it can be interpreted in different ways.
