What possible advantages does it have?? I just can't get my head round this opinion, ffn is impossible to navigate

Yeah, search function on ffn is annoying and isn't really as helpful as ao3. I'd say the only plus side of ffn is it's a lot older and has tons of fic for older fandoms before ao3 became as big as it is.
