I think the heat is driving people crazy. The hotter it is, the ruder people are when they're driving. It should be cooler by now, but it's still super hot and humid.

I think it's the smartphone use (and the fact they're used to checking out/multitasking while expecting instant-everything). People don't quit being assholes on the road just because the seasons change.

I've lived in places where it got really cold and lots of people still drove like assholes, so no.
