I have only been crocheting for a couple months, does that count as new? I finished the head of the zebra I am making my nephew. My color transitions are way better! https://imgur.com/a/GfLJqrZ

Other than that, the only new thing I am into is this tower defense game I have bene playing at work.

Altered Carbon. New-to-me! It's pretty interesting, and i like the world building a lot. I could *really* do without all the bare-breasted (or totally naked) women-as-whores all over the place, which is apparently now the de rigueur of dystopian/future/cyberpunkish worlds.

And wtf with all the hard nipples everywhere? Like - is the future really really cold? But only where the women are standing?

What were your favorite subjects in school?

Did you have any notable teachers?

Literature. I have always loved researching and writing papers. I had an English teacher in high school who was a hard ass. I loved his class.

Shop class and biology probably, because both teachers were awesome.

English and history. I loved most of the teachers I had for those classes.

There were a couple math teachers I really enjoyed, too, though. Notably the one I had for both my 10th and 11th grade math classes. He was really helpful and made the class fun.

English and literature in general except for one awful prof I had in college.

it's not a coincidence that the best teachers usually result in favourite subjects

so a-level maths, physics, all gcse sciences (esp. biology and chemistry)

our physics teacher was an absolute lunatic with about five previous careers (including condom packer and shrimp fisherman) but i'll mostly remember him from the time he got hold of some kids who decided it was a good idea to heckle one of our exams... let's just say it didn't end well for them

English, French, and history. Loved all those classes and the teachers I had were pretty great. The French teacher was actually my favorite teacher until I overheard her say some nasty things about one of her students at prom.

History, creative writing, drama, if that's a 'subject'.
Our drama teacher was awesome, so fun, really knowledgeable and interesting.
