If you could afford a holiday house where would it be?

Somewhere cold? Tropical? Big city? Middle of nowhere?

As much as I'd love a winter cabin or a beach house, I'd probably do a lakeside house in an area that has four seasons and very few neighbors.

Hmmm, southwest France, I think. Nice warm weather, beautiful river valleys and villages, amazing food...

Hawaii. A nice walk from Waikiki beach.

North-west coast somewhere, Washington or Oregon. No further south than Carmel. Maybe somewhere on the coast near Vancouver.

The Pacific Northwest within sight and walking distance to the ocean, for the plants, rain, wildlife, and scenery, Hawaii, ditto, or London because theatre, museums, and short trips to Europe.

Since I live where it is hot almost all year round, I'm going for Boston for Autumn and because I love the city. Second choice would be Hawaii, though, becaus beach and volcanoes.

Probably in some big city where it never snows. Preferably a dry, hot environment but I could even go for a cooler environment, as long as it's not freezing cold and doesn't snow.

Northern Ontario, or Nunavut. I love the cold and it's not overly far from where I live currently.

Definitely somewhere tropical. But with climate change and all, it may not be wise to buy property on islands.

Seems like we always need one!

I'm just so irritable and everyone pissed me off today.

Had some sexist conversations with dudes at work, had to deal with my dad being all devil's advocate/false equivalence/needing to be "fair" about politics, my mom trying to guilt me into traveling with her, both my parents being totally fine with being friends with a guy who's said some horrible stuff to me and getting mad at ME for being hurt that they still want to hang out with him, my mom telling me some denigrating stuff about my career choices that my dad apparently said...I'm just so over everything. On top of all that I've gotten very little sleep the past few days and feel like crap.

Ughhhh.

Anyone else need to share anything?

So yesterday, I was supposed to have Spanish class. We called ahead to ask about accessibility and were told it was wheelchair accessible and had a ramp at the back entrance. Only we get there, and that ramp is in no way usable for a wheelchair. It is extremely narrow and uneven and has a bump at the start of it. What good is that? Ugh. So no Spanish class until I can walk again.
