Constructive criticism is fine
But I'm sick to death of trolls on the internet. Why should we always hand things over to them?
In polite society it is considered rude to criticise people's appearance or work so why are we giving it a pass on the internet?
To me 'it's the internet' isn't a good enough reason any more, because too many of these assholes are getting away with being trolls and are actively stopping people from enjoying the internet.
I don't know what the solution is, maybe more moderation is needed.
But it just bugs me when people say 'it's just reality'. Actually, it isn't.

IDK, I feel like this is naive because there's just not a realistic way to stop them. I'm not saying "it's the internet so it's okay", I'm just pointing out that it's going to happen. Yes, it's rude, but you're never going to stop people from being assholes. You say it's NOT reality, but it is. You may not like it, but it is. There are always going to be jerks in the world. Would it be nice to make everyone always be nice to each other? Yes, of course, but it's not going to happen.
