AGREED. To an extent, anyway. I mean, there's pretty, though, and there's good-looking. The only exceptions I make are Meru Puri, Wanted! and Gurren Lagann.

I hate pink shows. Pink+Sparkles=retardation. Really, they just rely on the look of the characters to make them popular--there's rarely a story.

116. Oh, you are so far from alone it isn't even funny. Rarely do my favourite cahracters make it to the end of the series. Even then, when they do - they often croak right at the end. Or are so emotionally/physically scarred, they'll never be the same again. I'd blame it on Florance Nightingale Syndrome, but they're not that way when I fall in love!

I would assume the problem is that the character, Castiel, is an angel. Making angels have hot smutty gay sex for your own gratuitous amusement might be considered blasphemous by some people.

Not that that stops me from adding Castiel to my wincest. \o/

Okay, seriously: I agree with you. Even though to be frank, the trillion continuities involved in Batman makes it kind of difficult for a New!Fan! to get their head around a character properly because...hey, they change! And Cillian!Scarecrow! was...well-different to, say, Scarecrow: Year One!Scarecrow, and so on. But I agree that in no continuity is Scarecrow...confident. As you said, he is more a: "fear-obsessed coward", whose calm demeanour has a lot more to do with a) insanity and b) coldness than, you know, excellent self esteem. Should that description make me love him even more?
