I really enjoyed her performances in Murder on the Orient Express as well as TFA and TLJ. TROS was just a doozy of an ask for any performer (increasing her screen time by a lot, having her character regress, and then having her say things like "I can see through the cracks in your mask" is just cruel. That's possibly the worst line ever written for Star Wars). I'm not going to knock her for it and I hope to see her in more films soon.

Okay, maybe it was the delivery that really made that one funny. XD

ISTG, it's like Lucas said, "Okay Mark, the problem is you don't look as young as your character is supposed to be, so I want you to act as young as possible." And thus, Luke talked like a whiny/mopey fourteen-year-old for a lot of the first movie, while having the face of a grown man.
