Of course the Doctor can become male again. And then female again. Becoming female doesn't preclude another male regeneration. Time Lords can regenerate into any sex or gender. We've known that since Missy.

No shit? I honestly can't believe you ever thought otherwise. Let's be real here, casting a female doctor was a deviation from the norm for this show. I'll be surprised if we don't get a male PoC Doctor sometime soon, but I suspect it'll be a while before we get another female doctor.

Unless the rating rose significantly during the female doctor's run. But I kind of doubt it? (Sorry, I don't care enough to look up ratings.)

The ratings have been falling for years (while The Doctor was still a man) but people with an agenda keep conveniently forgetting that.

Anyway, I thought the new Master was great but am wondering what happened to Missy’s change of hearts. I’m also a little sad that we didn’t get Missy and Thirteen together. Both characters being a woman is the missing combination as it stands.
