Believing that what you read doesn't necessarily equal what you condone doesn't actually mean people are fine with the action in real life. Nobody cares if you block people who write what makes you uncomfortable and its much preferred to the kind of guilt tripping bullying that some people do when they think something is "problematic"

I'm just gonna assume that a high percentage of people is interested in murder and totes up to stsrt killing anyone they meet. You know, since fictional interest mean you are absolutely into what you like to read irl and crime and horror are popular genres.

Writing adult/child when they're fictional characters is completely normal protocol in fandom, and in professionally published works for that matter. It's been happening since before you and I were born. I am begging you to stop hugboxing with your fellow teenagers and look up anything about the history of fanfiction, or just read a book.

I brought up fanfic of Bill Skarsgard raping his child co stars in IT (these fics do exist, I even linked them) and anons dived in saying it's fine and engaging in that doesn't make you creepy or implies you have pedophillic desires.
