Got any goals, FS?

Re: Got any goals, FS?
So my goal is to get to the point where I can run a half marathon without dying. I completed Couch to 5K at the end of 2018 and have stuck with running 2-3 miles at least twice a week so can already do 5K fairly easily. It's just a case of defeating my worries that I won't be able to do a massively increased distance.
I'm in my 30s and HATED running at school. The fact I picked up running a couple of years ago at my age is a miracle in itself!

(Anonymous) 2020-01-12 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)And you've already worked super hard at improving your fitness and showed a lot of determination by doing the couch to 5k, so you should have no problems working up to a half marathon!
I know you didn't specifically ask for advice, so feel free to ignore this if it isn't of any interest/use to you, but DareBee have a program for building up to running a half marathon (as well as lots of other free fitness programs)

Re: Got any goals, FS?
I know I didn't ask for advice but I honestly very much appreciate it! Trying to maintain this level of fitness is a big deal for me and I'll take all the help I can get. Thank you for the link to a training program. I've got to work out a time frame because I don't want to go all out too early but I need to work up to it now we're in 2020. I'm aiming to make a serious half marathon training effort with at least 12 weeks to go until race day, but building some of my strength now isn't a bad thing!

(Anonymous) 2020-01-12 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)Oh wait, that's the depression.
My big goal for the year is find a new shrink. I haven't been to any sort of mental healthcare professional in about a year, and I hated the last one I saw :/
Re: Got any goals, FS?
I hope you find a good therapist. I need to call mine. I had just started seeing a new one before I had surgery, so I haven't talked to her since early November. Need to find her number and call her.
