I had soup, too. Salmon stew. Butter, finely chopped onion, canned salmon, whole milk, and black pepper. With a few little goldfish crackers. One of my go-to comfort foods!

I made chicken fajitas! I've been using the 8fit app because I really hate deciding what to eat which means I get takeout or crap, and I really want to lose a little weight and get into shape.

I went to a baby shower, so there was chicken pasta, lasagna, salad, bacon and parmesian cracker things, veggies and dip, and lots of desserts.

Well, I'm probably safe because I live on an island, but my government is wildly incompetent, so who knows.
I am, regardless of how much danger I may or may not be in, aware that a number of people have died, and a lot more are in danger... So no, I'm more annoyed by smug assholes sitting around and insisting all these disease control experts are just being hysterical and there's nothing to worry about.

I agree that in general new diseases tend to get blown out of proportion and fearmongered to an extreme. On the other hand, I also think it's both interesting and noteworthy how rapidly it's spreading.

it's absolutely ridiculous and I appreciate every news outlet that has made a point to follow any coronavirus story with a "friendly reminder" that the flu has already killed 10x more people in the US alone this year and there's a vaccine so please get it.

i'm watching travelers panic and cancel their trips to Japan because it's in the same hemisphere and roll my eyes. if anyone completely shuts down any and all chinese travelers coming into their country, it'll be Japan.

I'm deeply annoyed by the fearmongering, even more annoyed at the people in my life who are in a flailing panic about it but staunchly refuse to get their flu shots every year because flu's "not a big deal", and absolutely disgusted by the fact that the local racists have taken it as an excuse to up their bullshit.

Well for the last half dozen centuries or so there has consistently been a plague of some kind that significantly effects the population in the around the 20th year of each century. So we are due for a plague at any time now.
Seriously though, I'm not particularly concerned. I recognize the significance of the virus as it's fast spreading, possibly deadly, and (as far as I know) there isn't any cure. I haven't heard of any reports of it being in my area, though I have had a chest cold of some kind for a little while now, so who knows, I might even have it already.
