Re: Grumblings
(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 01:13 am (UTC)(link)So, TW for domestic violence, murder, suicide, child abuse, and the terrible ways that society collectively diminishes the responsibility of men who do terrible things.
Re: Grumblings
(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 01:20 am (UTC)(link)What's also horrible is all the news outlets going 'loving father! look at these pictures from his facebook page of him smiling with the cute kids
that he murdered rather than lose power over!' And all these chucklefuck commenters are going 'oh no but she was going to take his kids away it's all her fault' and I'm like... HE MURDERED THEM! MAYBE SHE WANTED TO GET HER KIDS AWAY FROM A GUY WHO WAS CAPABLE OF MURDERING THEM??? JUST MAYBE???When men treat women and children as property, and they decide they'd rather destroy their property than let it leave, that's not sad for the men! That's sad for the people they murder! Why the motherfucking shit is this a conversation we KEEP HAVING TO HAVE???
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH.
Also the government are conservative wankhandles who keep cutting money from women's shelters and other social support networks, so there's that too.

(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 01:43 am (UTC)(link)Re: Grumblings
(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 01:45 am (UTC)(link)Are these like...actual, legitimate news outlets? Our news outlets (US) get plenty of criticism, but I can't imagine any of them calling a guy who's murdered his entire family a loving father, at least not any of the reputable ones. Maybe some fringe blog or some idiots in comments somewhere, but not any of the big networks.
Re: Grumblings
(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 01:45 am (UTC)(link)I mean, there might be an interview with a neighbor saying how shocked they are, because he SEEMED like a loving father, but I can't imagine anyone actually saying he was one.

(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)Re: Grumblings
(Anonymous) 2020-02-20 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)Yes. Like I mentioned above, someone might say people THOUGHT he was a loving father before he killed them, but I can't imagine anyone from any reputable news outlet saying he actually was one, while knowing that he murdered them.
Re: Grumblings
