I had a horrid day at work, went to see a short-movie programme with a friend, got drunk and bought a second pack on a Kickstarter for this trashy cartoon--I don't need two plushies and two artbooks but... I still want them? and I want to support the studio? and higher-priced rewards weren't as interesting anyway?

Been mostly recovering today as we got back from our city-break to Krakow earlier. I'm so tired but trying to be grateful for the time off rather than moaning about being tired. It wasn't really a relaxing type of holiday. I usually manage about 70K steps in a full week but according to my tracker I broke that barrier yesterday.

I think the whole holiday has a shadow cast over it because of course we visited Auschwitz-Birkenau, which doesn't leave you in a good mood.

Having said that I was also kinda "disappointed" by the conveyor belt nature of the visit (they admit way too many tours/people) and the people trying to take moody black and white portrait photos for Instagram likes on the railway tracks (near to where over a million people took their last steps on Earth) can quite frankly fuck off.

Had a hearing and had to file some stuff at Pearsall (1.5 hour drive) and then went to an employment agency. Right now I'm taking a short break from cleaning my room. I'm probably going to go to bed early because I didn't sleep much last night, did a lot of driving today, and I'm really exhausted.

Nothing too special, just work and errands. I got barely any sleep last night though so I'm looking forward to the weekend and getting to sleep!

Not much! I watched some preseason baseball this morning, then I got high and took a nice, long, hot shower. I got dressed and did my hair and makeup, put on some nice jewelry, and now I'm waiting for my hair to dry and my husband to come home, because we're going to our favorite Vietnamese restaurant for dinner this evening. Tomorrow I have to go to the DMV, womp womp.

Went to the dentist and had a white filling put in a cavity. Thinking about how Taron Egerton put in a good performance as Elton John in Rocketman. Beginning to read Alan Moore's Lost Girls.

Apparently I have a thing for late-addition nerds -- Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory, Ben from Parks & Recreation, and Patrick from Schitt's Creek were some of my first thoughts.

Also Frank Reynolds from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (it's crazy to think what that show would be now without Danny Devito!).

What is everyone doing this weekend?

It is going to be really nice here so I want to get at least 10 miles of walking in. Tomorrow we might do some yard clean up. Sunday, my coworker needs help changing out her toilet fill valve. I told her it was super easy but she'll probably need help.
