144. I mostly can't stand it because girls I went to HS with dressed that way. Hell, the middle schoolers did too. They grow up way too fast. I dunno, maybe it's because I'm fat and never had the confidence they do, but I see something wrong with teenagers wearing shorts that barely cover their undies, if they're even wearing any.

It reminds me of how much some people are willing to buy overpriced doujinshi even though you could get them cheaper through an auction proxy. I saw someone bid over $100 on a doujinshi on Ebay that they could have easily gotten off Yahoo Japan Auctions for less than $20. Unless there's something I'm missing, that's craaaazy.

It does pay to do your research, guys.

133 - OMG! YES! That's one of my favorite pairings for real. Back in the day when everyone was shipping Spuffy, I was all about Spike/Willow. And because of that, that scene is one of my favorites. I squee'd like crazy. I even wrote some (questionably bad) fanfic for that pairing around the time the 4th/5th seasons were airing.

a shockingly awesome British show called Skins
it's like what any American teen show could be if it strapped on a king-size set of balls and got bought out by HBO - all the drama, but with onscreen sex and realistic drug use and swearing and srs bzns issues too like eating disorders, suicide, homosexuality, family/religious issues and sexual assault and characters die and the chick in the secret is a crazy stalker, it's fucking nuts and I love it. :D

127 - Tennant fans are starting to scare me out of Doctor Who. As much as I love him as an actor, I'm glad he's leaving. (And until my school offered a trip to Hamlet, I thought English classes were all quite sane.)

131 - I always felt sorry for Sketch even when she was being outright nasty. As a 'young carer' myself I can see her situation (thought mine's a sibling, not a parent). I got kinda pissed off when all my friends were making fun of her.

127: I think the reason people say that is because HE is their favorite Doctor, and they don't want him to leave. I'm sure that back when Tom Baker was leaving, all of his fans said that they couldn't imagine anybody else in the role. Personally, Chris and David were MY Doctors, so it is hard to see anybody come after those two because they were both so brilliant, but most of us David fans are just as excited to see a new Doctor as the rest of the fandom. And most of us didn't expect David to be leaving so soon, so let them have their feelings without invalidating them.
