Eh, I'm alright but my anxiety is kinda in my head lately. I know I need to relax and that there isn't much I can do about the current situation, but I still worry. :( I'm hanging in there tho, reading, playing games on my phone, watching lighthearted shows and movies, and trying not to think about things too much. I hope you're doing okay too, FS.

I am sore and exhausted, but feeling accomplished. I sorted and organized my entire room today including the bookshelves and desk.

I've just had this need to be doing things physically this week. Worked on the garage and living room bookshelves over the weekend and Monday. But I think I may have hit my limit for a few days. Still more stuff to do in the garage, though, and I want to organize the bathroom as well.

My mother made mac and cheese for dinner, so I'm looking forward to that. Her recipe is why I can't ever order mac and cheese anywhere or buy the boxed kind or anything. Nothing beats my mom's recipe.

Definitely will take a long hot bath later tonight and then watch an episode or two of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I've been watching a LOT of YouTube lately, because we got a (very limited) smart TV at the Boxing Day sales and I need something to keep my focus while I exercise. I've been hitting the 10k steps goal most days!
Staying in doesn't affect me too much - I'm unemployed anyway, I live on the charity of my parents so I'm not in danger of being rendered homeless, I'm not studying, my social circles are tiny - but the general aura of anxiety that is everywhere right now is sort of getting to me.
Yesterday I had to go to the doctor for a chat about a chronic condition I have (and then got some blood taken), and just being in the hospital started to give me a stress headache.
[Also, where I live, the government keeps saying how all the cases they've identified are from out of state, we have no official cases where someone caught it in this state, but they're also not testing people who haven't been out of the state so???]

Two more days before I am laid off for at least two weeks. :/ Going to spend that time crocheting a blanket, I guess.

Haven't had a day off, or done less then a twelve hour shift coming up to two weeks now. Won't get a day off for at least another week.

Freaking out a little bit. The degrees of separation between me and people who have coronavirus are vanishing, latest county news is that lockdown may continue at least through the end of April... that scared me, because I’m more worried about whether I’ll still have a job by then than I was when I thought we’d be back at work soon. But on the other hand, I know sending people back to work too soon would be disastrous.

I promised class that they'd get their essays back tomorrow and then procrastinared all afternoon. I'm paying for it now but I'll suffer a night without sleep rather than admit to my failures to the kids.

Went for a walk in the park today, since the sun finally came out. It was *so* nice, though a lot of it was super-muddy and/or standing water (lots of rain). But watching/listening to the river rushing by was nice, and I took some pictures.

Came home and ate my huge bowl of fruit salad and it was delicious. A nice day!

Despite being quarantined, I'm somehow doing even less than I would do on a normal day.
Before I would do some coursework, find time to read either a book or fanfic,work on fixing broken jewellery, practice drawing and finish some fan art pieces in my spare time. I have done none of those things since the start of last week - I haven't felt settled enough to read anything more than a couple of 1000 word one-shots (even then I was going back and forth on it between checking other sites while reading it), I haven't gone near my coursework file or jewellery projects and I feel like I can't concentrate enough for drawing.

Its a bit annoying because I've wished for more time to do these things and now that I have that time I have zero focus to do anything at all.

Why am I up a whole hour earlier than when I work, we're in lockdown, I'm on short-time, I don't work and likely won't for a whole month!

I'm not trying to titilate but I think I finally nailed down a good masturbation routine. I used to never be able to get myself off, but now I've got a great toy and can relax enough to treat myself. It's a big relief.

I talked my nanna through setting up video chat so we can talk every day now. I'm going to help her get some word and puzzle games on the ipad I got her for her birthday so we can play together or she can play to pass the time. I've set up her grocery delivery. I've given her my netflix password and made her a user account with a pre-selected list of stuff I think she'll like.

She seems in better spirits than when she called me to say she couldn't go the senior centre and she felt lonely last week.

I'm seeing if her local library has an online service. I think we can do a book and movie club and maybe get some of her friends involved if I can talk them through setting up video chat too.


Any other ideas?
