But in your reply to vandonovan's comment, you mentioned that they don't work for him. Is that really true? I had no idea of that myself. I mean, I know that certain contacts (especially color contacts) can cause damage to your eyes. I had a friend who wore color contacts for a long time and eventually had to stop using them and go back to glasses, because the contacts only made her eyesight worse.

Can't we at least have like, one little episode? PLEASE? THAT'S ALL I'M ASKING FOR.

Well, I'm not sure if that's his problem, but I know that there are a lot of people out there where contacts don't work for them. Especially those suffering astigmatism, because they just don't fit the eye correctly and it tends to cause problems.

Though, he could just be one of those who dislikes wearing contacts, though. There are many of those out there, too. XD

But yeah, I'd kill for just an episode of Wilson wearing glasses. Even for just a few seconds - we catch House in them all the time (not that I'm complaining, 'cause unf unf unf). IT'S NOT FAIR. ;__;

You can wear them to correct astigmatism now, actually. The technology has improved a LOT.

Me, I wore contacts for a year once when I was 14. (I wanted to be an actor, so I figured I ought to get used to wearing them early.) I didn't have any trouble with them except for one thing - I have really, really, REALLY sensitive eyes. Like, the first time the optometrist put contacts in my eyes, I was SCREAMING in utter agony. They'd been sitting in regular solution, and to me, that was like someone shoving hot pokers in my eyes. I was sick for the rest of the day.

I managed to wear them with sensitive eye solution, but they ALWAYS felt like they were burning slightly. I eventually went back to glasses. They might have even more sensitive solution now, I don't know, but ick. I doubt anything could really make contacts comfortable for me.

So yeah, it might not be an issue of fit! Could just be comfort.

I figured technology has improved, considering I wear them with an astigmatism - when my mom tried wearing them, however, it didn't work. (At the time. Now, she just doesn't care enough to try again.)

Yeah, I need sensitive eye solution, too. They don't often burn, but they still do sometimes; it's possible that's RSL's problem.
