159 - I loved the movie but I think it's so complete in and of itself that it simply doesn't need fic.

For 'crappy characterisation of John' read 'Not with Teyla/Elizabeth'.
For 'someone like her' read 'a member of the opposite sex' (no matter how little chemisty).

I thought anon was saying it liked the top pairing first, and those two both look pretty dude-ly to me. Unless this is a wacky sci-fi genderswap show, in which case I should probably watch it.

167. I loved the show, too, but I'm always a little disappointed because the Man in Chair I saw had glasses and the original Man in Chair doesn't. And the only pictures I can find are of the original ;_;

141. Huh, I don't see him as driving a wedge between the brothers. Maybe at first, but I don't think either brother is very fond of the angels right now. Ack, and a schmoopy Castiel would be terrible, I think. I like him as he is, though he does seem to stare...a lot.

133: I highly recommend quitting the fandom. The only really sucky part about that is the danger of finding yourself sighing, "Now what's the fandom going to say about this?" all the time anyway. I really don't understand why it's so fucking hard for people to accept that first season is OVER and it's not coming back.

162: B7 is fucking awesome. I think it's actually the closest to Firefly that I've seen, followed closely by Farscape (which is just too out there to be the closest).

There were parts of Blakes 7 that I Firefly (and Serenity especially) stole almost directly. It was quite shocking. I wonder if Firefly hadn't been cancelled if it would have diverged further or borrowed more.
