tbh i do the same for spn these days, i just watch the occasional sam+dean video to see how their adventures have been going and leave it at that. if it's 'wrong' idc because i can't be assed keeping up with something i consider a slog to get through.

I don't mind the same young actors getting cast in different things that they're suited for... but I don't know what tf kind of a thought process went into Finn Wolfhard being cast in The Turning! Making Miles into a teenage boy changes EVERYTHING, and makes a lot of things less a case of 'is this boy possessed' and more a case of 'puberty made this boy into a creep'. It doesn't matter how talented the actor is, all the decisions are just so bad that it's not about the performance.
