My friend has been diagnosed with cancer. She told our friendship group on Zoom but I couldn't participate because i'm laid up with coronavirus. I get the impression that I hurt her but talking is really difficult right now and small things are exhausting me.

I can understand why she's upset, but I'm also upset because she's upset with me. But the real issue I want to vent about is that I don't know how to make it up to her. I am beyond shit with people and I don't know how to go about healing such a breach at a time when we're both absorbed in our own health crises.

If the main character of the last movie you saw had to fight the main character of the last tv show you saw - who would win?

for me, Movie: DareDevil vs Tv: Adventures of Superman - definitely Superman.

Harley Quinn would destroy Fox Mulder in hand to hand combat imo

Movie: Spider-Man: In the Spiderverse

....honestly I think Miles Morales and Gon would be friends haha, but Gon would win if they fought.

I watched all three original Indiana Jones films over the weekend and am still working my way through our re-watch of Star Trek: TNG on Netflix.

Hmm...Indiana Jones Vs Captain Picard.

Feels like an actual fight might be a tad unfair as vintage Indy gets into physical fights more, but if it's a battle of the brains Picard would definitely have more mileage.

Then again they'd probably give up fighting and bond over archaeology.

Movie: Uh, been a while since I watched a movie. I did watch one of the How to Train Your Dragon movies a couple weeks ago.

TV: Watched two episodes of Supernatural today.

So, Sam and Dean vs. Hiccup would not be remotely fair. Sam and Dean vs. Hiccup and Toothless would be unfair in the other direction. So yeah.

Louise Belcher could totally beat up Annie Wilkes.

I'm currently watching "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" (absolutely fantastic movie so far, I want more people to watch it so it inspires some sort of fanfic trend with this setting) and the last show I watched was Twin Peaks, soo- I'm gonna go with the Ghost on this one.

Otherwise I watched "Manhattan Melodrama" (perfect movie, literally broke my goddamn heart) in full yesterday and last show would still be Twin Peaks, and yeah I'm gonna go with Blackie and Jim over those small town assholes in a heartbeat. (that is if I still had one...;;)

Even though Bravestone is The Rock, Meredith can be vicious and I think she could outthink anyone who is playing him, so, Meredith.

harley quinn vs the kingdom(netlix) squad... honestly i'm not sure who'd win as the kingdom lot are Very competent but harley has the power of luck on her side.

tbh i think i'd rather watch harley+kingdom squad vs the zombies, that would be fantastic.

Midoriya Izuku (Boku no Hero Academia) v.s. Kanbe Daisuke (Fugoh Keiji)

...Errrrrrrr Deku has super powers but Kanbe has the power of unlimited money. Meanwhile Deku has to obey the law because he's a hero; Kanbe buys his own rules. I'm gonna go with money wins.

Nucky Thompson would shoot that cartoon character in Waking Life and not think twice about it.

So it would be Elsa vs. the Seventh Doctor. Huh, I wanna go with Elsa 'cause she has ice powers, but the Doctor would probably figure out some way around that.
