I hate that it's not okay to call out any woman a bad feminist role model. Sometimes a spade is a spade, ya'll.

There are absolutely people I would call "bad feminists." But the people I would feel comfortable dismissing as bad feminists are almost never people who identify as feminists, so.

Also, a lot of people have some belief or value or behavior that isn't very feminist; I'm just not comfortable summing someone up as a "bad feminist" simply because they aren't consistently a good feminist in every way.

Can the whole thing get complicated? Absolutely. It's not a black and white issue.

One thing I'll say for certain is that having cosmetic surgery does not make someone a bad feminist, but diminishing a woman's beliefs and values because she made a choice about her body that you disapprove of, isn't being very feminist.
