All of high school people thought I was a lesbian because I was for gay rights in rural SC.

I got called a lesbian and also a man in middle school for never wearing dresses and for my chest not having developed yet (until 8th grade anyway). At a conservative Christian school, those were particularly pointed insults. In fact, I had teachers tell me I should be more feminine.

I hated that school so much. Still do. That school is the cause of my PTSD and other mental health issues. It is evil and I think it would be investigated if it were located in America and not a missionary school.

Yeah. Had a lesbian friend at catholic school. According to everyone, even teachers, that made me her girlfriend.

In a hilarious self-fulfilling prophecy, they believed we would "do lesbian things" at camp so they moved my friend to a different cabin and it happened to be the one her crush was in. Her closeted bi crush. They did things. Our homophobic teachers made that possible.

That's awesome. I'm happy for your friend and your crush and also happy that that those awful teachers were instrumental in making it happen. I hope that they someday found out how important their assistance was.

I was bi and went to an anglican all-girls school. So much homophobia, so much homoeroticism.
