Ipod alternatives
I'd like something big, like the 128 gig or 256 gig things. I have a ton of music, and right now I can't put nearly as much as I'd like on my Ipod and keep having to delete songs to put new ones on. I used to love the Ipod classic until they stopped making those. The Ipod touch does come in the big sizes now, but it would be 300 dollars for the 128 and 400 for the 256.
Is there a more affordable alternative that would still be a larger size?

(Anonymous) 2020-06-15 06:01 am (UTC)(link)I know you're not looking for some tiny 2005 model MP3 player, but I can attest that I got excellent usage out of my Sony.
HOWEVER, I don't know if they still do it this way, but my Sony was an absolute bitch about software. It required software to upload music to it, and if you switched computers and then lost the disc the software came on you were fucked because it was impossible to find opensource anywhere. Obviously they're not going to be doing the disk thing anymore, but if you go with Sony I'd still look into whether their tech comes with major software limitations.

(Anonymous) 2020-06-15 01:09 pm (UTC)(link)The first sansa clip I had was really good with GB space (by itself its 8gb but with a micro SD you can expand the memory by however big the micro SD is) - however its pretty flimsy plastic and after 4 years I had accidently destroyed it (I had put it in my pocket for too long and the hold button got pressed into a glitch I couldn't fix). My second sansa clip kept corrupting my SD cards and would only take two files of music at maximum - which is probably just that device's fault. It's pretty cheap last time I looked it up so idk.
